CHARLES MKULA, BRAND IN NEWS INDUSTRY, LAID TO REST

The body of Charles Mkula was laid to rest at Chipande village, Traditional Authority Malemia in Zomba district. Charles Mkula who spent many years in news industry died peacefully in Blantyre aged 56.
The well-known brand in news industry, lost his brave fighting kidney failure according to his brother Joseph Mkula.
Though Charles Mkula had a problem in his body, he was always appearing brave and calm despite the pain. He was a great man in the news industry.
Charles Mkula performed his duties in the news industry with outstanding and unforgettable dedication. He exhibited the rare mix of honesty, fairness, balance, independence, diversity, objectivity, and aggressiveness when reporting and writing the news.
Despite challenges in the news industry, Charles Mkula was able to face dangerous and difficult tasks and situations with courage. He had the mental and the moral to face danger, fear or difficulty.
Until his death, Charles Mkula was general secretary for Journalists Union of Malawi. He fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith of Journalism. May his soul rest in peace forever.
